Mechanical Support Manager
Based in
RXT Main Office, Oslo, Norway
Reporting to
Vice president Technical Support
Main tasks:
• Day-to-day technical support of the mechanical departments offshore.
• Assist in purchasing and logistics related to the mechanical department.
• Support the rigging teams.
• Promote and develop new ideas to improve efficiency, cut cost and add value.
• Help to direct ideas for improvement to the Mechanical Development Department
when appropriate and assist in testing when needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a marine seismic environment.
• Good overview of the operation and detailed knowledge of the main parts of
mechanical related activities.
• Good communication skills in English, oral and written.
Personal qualifications required:
Educational background on BSc level or similar. Seismic experience can compensate for lack of educational background.
