Operations/Acquisitions Geophysicist
Based in
RXT main office, Oslo, Norway
Job description
This position presents an excellent opportunity for a Geophysicist with a background in seismic acquisition and/or processing to become involved in the full cycle of 4C Seismic acquisition.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- preparing bids for tender
- presentations to oil companies
- following up on client enquiries / troubleshooting reported anomalies
- some test 4C processing
- compliance with company HSEQ policy
Requirements
- An earth sciences, physics or geophysics degree.
- 4+ years experience in seismic acquisition and / or processing.
- OBC processing experience a plus but not a pre-requisite.
