Health and Safety Policy Statement
We recognise that excellence in health and safety performance demonstrates a well run and durable business, and that improving financial value for our stakeholders can be achieved by safe working. We pursue the ultimate goal of no harm to people. It is acknowledged that the need to act safely at all times demands continuous commitment from directors, managers, supervisors , all employees and contractor personnel involved in the company’s activities. We strive to allocate adequate material, financial and human resources in development and maintenance of our management system.

Substance Abuse Policy
We are committed to providing a substance-abuse free working environment.
The effects of drugs and alcohol jeopardize the health and safety of the individual user and his/her co-workers. The elements of this Substance Abuse Policy are intended to achieve the overall goal of fostering a healthy, safe environment for our employees.
Violation of any portion of this policy will subject the personnel to appropriate disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of employment.

Competence Statement
All of our employees and contractor personnel must be competent in the work they undertake. We take into account a combination of education, knowledge, skill and sufficient understanding of the work to enable effective implementation. HSE training is an important part of achieving competence to a level that allows the trainee to translate knowledge gained into safer practices at the place of work.
Right to Refuse Work Policy
Personnel can refuse to work or carry out a particular task at the workplace if they have reasonable grounds to believe there is danger to their health and/or safety or health and/or safety of others.
Personnel will not be disciplined for exercising their right to refuse work in good faith and they are entitled to the same wages and benefits that they would have received had the refusal not taken place. Unless permission to leave is granted, personnel are obliged to stay for their normal working hours. Reservoir Exploration Technology AS is responsible for re-assigning personnel to alternative work temporarily, while the hazardous situation is being remedied.
